What is the Feed-in Tariff Start Date?

It has already started! There have been a number of important dates relating to successful claim of Clean Energy Cashback. They relate to install dates and registration to previous schemes.

Green energy technology installed on or after 15th July 2009 is able to directly apply for accreditation under the Feed-In Tariffs scheme. For units commissioned and installed before this date, special arrangements were put in place; users had until the 31st March 2010 to register with Ofgem under the Renewables Obligation (RO). Failure to do this made the installation ineligible for the Feed-In Tariffs scheme.

Microgenerators participating in the Renewables Obligation are able to transfer to the Feed-In Tariffs scheme and users should have received a letter from Ofgem or from the agent that trades their ROCs with instructions on how to transfer.
